The Yokohama Port Symbol Tower is a lesser-known landmark in Yokohama, built primarily for ship navigation, while also offering a green space for the public, complete with a viewing deck and gardens.

Originally constructed in 1935, this railway ferried both workers and construction materials upstream during construction of a dam, which led to the birth of Lake Sesso, a calm emerald body of water beneath the arches of the bridge.
