A surreal view of Lake Ashi (Ashinoko), captured from the southeastern shore in Hakone, Japan, looking northwest. This late-afternoon shot was achieved using a 10-stop ND filter and a circular polarizer (CP) filter, creating the smooth, glass-like surface of the water and the soft, textured motion of the clouds.
A calm, pristine, man-made pond in Nagano Prefecture, Japan, surrounded by a mix of evergreen and deciduous trees, reflecting perfectly on the glass-like surface. The stillness of the water creates a serene, tranquil atmosphere. The pond is nestled in a remote area, offering a peaceful escape into nature's beauty, where the blue-hour light enhances the vibrant greens and creates a mirror-like reflection of the surrounding forest.

Lone Japanese maples (momiji・モミジ・紅葉) located at the edge of a tight curve on Prefectural Highway 730 next to the parking lot of the trailhead where you can take a hike to the peak of Mt. Myojin (明神山)in Yamanashi Prefecture.
Once the cherry blossom tree loses its flowers, the rest of the foliage on the surrounding mountainsides will start to come alive in vibrant hues of green and blue.
