In the serene dawn light, the sun paints a chilly shadow on the western face of Mt. Fuji, draped in a pristine coat of snow, as it towers majestically over Lake Tanuki in Shizuoka Prefecture. Captivating me was the interplay of the warm, gleaming sunlight dancing upon the lake's surface, juxtaposed against the frigid, deep-blue hues of Mt. Fuji's western slope, eloquently conveying the contrasting temperatures at play.
